I came across Dr. Mukkesh Jetley in the winter of 1980 when he was looking for an organisation for the analysis of data collected by him for the study of “TRANSMISSION OF FACIAL CHARACTERISTICS FROM PARENTS TO CHILDREN IN NORTH INDIAN FAMILIES”. He had collected 188 parameters of the entire family of subjects numbering around one thousand.

I was quite impressed with the basic knowledge possessed by Dr. Mukkesh Jetley in the field of Dental Sciences. That was the first point of my association with him which has become stronger day by day. I found in him a very hard working and intelligent person, because he worked in BASIC & FORTRAN IV languages for the analysis of his data for his project work which is quite uncommon for a doctor to be involved in learning computer languages.

Dr. Mukkesh Jetley is a gifted Orthodontist with complete and sound knowledge in his subject coupled with dedication to his profession.During the last 18 years he has never failed even in those cases which I have refered to him after other Orthodontists gave up hope of treatment. He has always exhibited his ability with the human touch for the treatment of his patients.

I have also had the proud privilage of introducing him to Nobel Laureates.

I wish him success in his professional and personal life.
